The parents of her are Harvey Welker who is Native American and Julie Welker who is African-American. Her mother is a real-estate agent, while her father is a graduate in engineering. Her graduation from Germantown Friends School, located in Philadelphia's Germantown neighborhood in 1994. After graduating of Harvard College in 1998, she attended Harvard College and earned her Bachelor of Arts. Welker is married to John Hughes a well-known marketing director for Merck in Philadelphia and they have two children. The couple began a relationship in 2014 with each other. John her husband, is just four years older than her. The couple has decided to continue their relationship forward as things were progressing well. In March of 2017, the couple got married.
