StephanieStephanie Sigman, a Mexican-American actress. Her first role was in Miss Bala, a Mexican crime-drama film. She then appeared in Pioneer (2013), Spectre (2015) and Going Under (2016). Sigman was seen in Narcos (2015) as along with S.W.A.T.(2017), the first and second seasons respectively. Sigman was born to a Mexican mother and an American father, Lee Sigman, who is a New York Yankees scout. Through her father, she's the daughter of a U.S. citizen. [2][3][4] The father of her, professional baseball player Kenneth Ray Sigman was her mother. Her career began in Mexican television before she made her film debut in Rio de Oro. She played the main character in Laura Guerrero (Miss Bala) in the film, which is a Mexican crime-drama. [6] The film was selected as the Mexican entry for the Best Foreign Language Film at the 84th Academy Awards,[7][8] but it didn't make the cut. 9. Sigman was nominated for a Dublin Film Critics Circle Award in 2011 for her role in the film. [10][11] The following year, she played Catalina Aguado in the Canadian documentary film Flight of the Butterflies. In 2013, Sigman starred with Pioneer, a Norwegian thriller.
