Paula Patton was born in Los Angeles in a middle-class family. The actress grew up with big dreams. Her most memorable roles include the film about spying, Mission: Impossible: Ghost Protocol and the thriller Precious. As a young girl Paula Patton grew up in a Los Angeles middle-class household. The mother of her children was a film fan and encouraged her to love films as a child. Paula enjoyed participating in school co-curricular activities and she was a huge fan of drama. Her favorite part was performing in stage productions along with her peers. Hamilton Magnet Arts High School produced many plays and the actress decided that acting was her preferred career. Through a program for summer at the University of Southern California, she thoroughly enjoyed her time there. The program offered her a three-month contract to make documentaries on PBS. When she was able to complete the assignment successfully, she started working as an assistant in the production of TV documentaries. The next thing she did was begin producing documentaries. Although she enjoyed the work she was doing but she was always wishing for the role of an actress. In the romantic comedy Hitch she starred in a minor part with Will Smith. She has since played in numerous popular films and television shows.
